Monolec® Engine Oil is a 20W-50 oil specially formulated for extended drain service in both on-road and off-road gasoline and diesel engines. This high-viscosity oil provides superior film strength even at high temperatures, protecting the engine from wear and damage. It has an excellent oxidation stability and detergency package that helps protect the engine, keeping it clean and protecting it from wear. It also contains wear-reducing additives that provide an additional layer of protection from friction and heat.
Monolec Engine Oil is especially suited for use in air-cooled four-stroke motorcycle engines, racing engines and other high temperature applications. It is also suited for diesel engines and can be used to help extend drain intervals and improve fuel efficiency when combined with an oil analysis program. Wirelife® Almasol® Coating Lubricant (2002) is a fluid wire rope lubricant that provides a tough outer coating to seal
and protect against fretting corrosion, wear and rust – even under extreme load and moisture. It seals and protects
better than any product available. When used in conjunction with Wirelife Monolec® Penetrating Lubricant, maximum
protection and wear reduction is achieved. In addition to its primary function as a coating, it also provides moderate penetration – depending on the tightness of tolerances and the temperature when applied. It contains a petroleum solvent to enhance its ability to penetrate. The solvent evaporates, leaving behind a self-healing, nontacky, protecting film that is highly resistant to wash-off from both fresh and salt water.
A non-tacky, clear, translucent Aluminium Complex grease for use in USDA inspected food processing plants. Smooth texture makes it excellent for use on equipment that must be frequently washed down. As it contains no pigments, it will appear transparent when in service on equipment. LE’s 8104 MONOLEC® Two-Cycle Engine Oil’s special formulation instantly disperses in the fuel. This and other exclusive features of LE’s 8104 MONOLEC® Two-Cycle Engine Oil help achieve optimum performance in two-cycle engines. LE’s 8104 is blended with paraffinic base oils for greater film strength, lubricity and high natural Viscosity index. It contains MONOLEC®, LE’s exclusive wear-reducing additive.
In two-cycle engines, lubrication is achieved by mixing the lubricant with the fuel, and using the fuel coming into the carburetor as a carrier for the oil. Lubrication of the entire engine must be accomplished in a single pass through the system. The fuel/oil/air mixture passes from the carburetor into the combustion chamber in a split second, where high temperatures instantly vaporize the gasoline. The oil, in droplet form, must lubricate all moving parts of the crankshaft, plus the piston and cylinder. If combustion of the oil is incomplete, or by-products are deposited in the cylinder, serious problems can develop such as spark plug fouling, clogging and restriction of intake ports, piston ring sticking or piston scuffing.
