Lubrication Engineers, Inc. formulated its solid lubricant-containing, calcium sulfonate-thickened Almamoly™ HD Grease for use in severe conditions such as high temperatures, heavy loads and water. This high-performance grease is intended for long-lasting use in heavyduty mobile equipment such as that used in construction, agriculture, open pit mining and road-building. It is available in two grades – NLGI 1 and 0 – to meet the needs of a variety of applications. The 0 grade grease is recommended for use in centralized lubrication systems at low temperatures.
Almamoly HD Grease contains Almasol®, LE’s proprietary solid additive as well as 5 percent molybdenum disulfide (also known as
molydisulfide or moly). Compared to other solid lubricant-containing greases that rely on moly or graphite alone, Almamoly HD Grease’s synergistic combination of moly and Almasol gives it better wear resistance. This unique combination of solids helps ensure reliable lubrication, staying in place even when the lubricant is squeezed out of the contact zone due to extreme pressure (EP) or heavy shock loading. The calcium sulfonate complex thickener provides additional performance features that make this grease desirable for a variety of extreme conditions.
Pyroshield Syn Open Gear Grease is a heavy-duty synthetic lubricant developed for large unshrouded open gears in the mining,
mineral processing and cement industries, and for other severe service applications that require a lubricant with superior wear
protection, exceptional load-carrying ability, outstanding tackiness and ease of application at various temperatures. It also works well for applications in which gears experience high point-of-contact temperatures of 327°C (620°F) and above.

Monolec® Engine Oil is a 20W-50 oil specially formulated for extended drain service in both on-road and off-road gasoline and diesel engines. Monolec Engine Oil is especially suited for use in air-cooled four-stroke motorcycle engines, racing engines and other high temperature applications. LE's Monolec® Ultrablend Engine Oil (8130) provides optimum performance and protection for diesel and gasoline engines. 9200 Almasol Dry Film Lubricant is an air drying solid film lubricant, containing a carefully selected blend of Almasol and other solid lubricants of controlled particle size, dispersed in a fast drying solvent system and resin binder. The resulting film has good adhesion and exceptional wear life. The dry, solid film lubricant prevents galling and seizing of mating metal surfaces under operating
conditions of high loads and slow speeds. It will cure at room temperature and lubricate effectively over a broad temperature range: -100°F to 650°F (-73°C to 343°C) [1000°F (537°C) in the absence of oxygen].
Wirelife® Almasol® Coating Lubricant (2002) is a fluid wire rope lubricant that provides a tough outer coating to seal
and protect against fretting corrosion, wear and rust – even under extreme load and moisture. It seals and protects
better than any product available. When used in conjunction with Wirelife Monolec® Penetrating Lubricant, maximum
protection and wear reduction is achieved. In addition to its primary function as a coating, it also provides moderate penetration – depending on the tightness of tolerances and the temperature when applied. It contains a petroleum solvent to enhance its ability to penetrate. The solvent evaporates, leaving behind a self-healing, nontacky, protecting film that is highly resistant to wash-off from both fresh and salt water.
Almaplex Ultra-Syn Lubricant has the power to increase equipment uptime and enhance bottom line profitability by offering exceptional quality, versatility and reliability. A heavy-duty synthetic grease containing LE’s proprietary additives Almasol® and Quinplex®, Almaplex Ultra-Syn provides optimum performance under extreme operating conditions. It is an aluminum complex thickened grease
made with an ISO 460 viscosity synthetic base fluid, a combination that provides superior high-temperature functionality, low-temperature pumpability and excellent performance in the presence of water. Almaplex 1299 & 1298 (NLGI grades 2 & 1, respectively) provide 73 percent higher extreme pressure performance than competitive grease, as indicated by the results of the Four Ball EP Test. In the Water Spray-Off Test, competitive greases lost almost six times more grease. This performance offers the potential for
energy savings and reduced operating temps in applications such as construction, agriculture, mining, steel mills and paper mills; hammer mills; extruders and ball mills. Almaplex 1299 can be used in couplings where AGMA CG-1, CG-2 and CG-3
lubricants are recommended.
Almaplex 1295 is an NLGI grade 000 semifluid grease that has superior film strength because of its synthetic high viscosity base oil. It is excellent for use in heavily loaded bearings in cold temperature applications. It performs well in any gearbox that requires a semifluid grease, particularly enclosed gearboxes where housings and seals have lost their ability to retain conventional gear oils.
